Dana Point

How Are you guys?

 I am in Dana point. It is right on the beach. My comp is Elder Parker from Draper Utah. He and I are really different. I cant say much because he is right next to me. I am going to send some pictures. This area has a lot of potential.

It is really hard to go from full time car to only having it 3 days a week. Tell Alyssa I do have a Burger King here so she can send me more gift cards. Hint Hint Hint. 

I can tell this is going to be really hard. I am going to need alot of prayers

Im getting transfered

 I am getting transfered. I dont know where but I am leaving after we finish our letters home. I will go to a new area. I am not sure where it will be or who it will be with. It is always a little scarey at this point not sure where your going or who is going to be your companion. I am sad to be leaving this ward. This is definatly one I want to come back and visit. I got my pic taken with the Bishop and his famous tie. That says Im to sexy for this tie. This ward reminds me of the ward back home. Everyone is fun and gets along. 

I can say I am glad that I wont need ear plugs anymore. I dont think I have had a good night sleep since I came here. I am excited to be the senior companion and make the decisions. I know one I will make is about riding bikes or the car. I will choose car. 

I love you all and next week I will fill you in on where I am and who I am with.

2012

Look our Everybody the world is going to end!!!

Ha ha everyone here is talking about the world coming to an end in 2012. So I guess they should listen to the missionaries then huh.

It sounds like everyone is doing good. We are still meeting with Eddy its not a normal meeting we just try to do some service while we are there.

Transfers are next week and it is funny how the work always seems to pick up the week before transfers. I dont know if its because we are out trying to tie up lose ends but we are always so busy the week before transfers.

The weather is so great it is between 75 and 90 everyday. We are in a car most of the time which is great because we have air conditioning.

How is everyone liking the new dog? Does she have a good personality? How is Dad doing with the dog? Hope its not another Higgens case. Just kidding Dad. I bet Ethan is having fun with her. He has wanted a dog forever.

Hello Everyone

It was fun to skype with you guys and see your faces on Christmas. That was the best Christmas present ever. It has been a slow week. Everyone has family in town for the holidays and their not into listening to a message right now. Everyone wants to spend Christmas in California it is really crowded here.

Thanks so much for all the stuff you sent for Christmas. I loved the Book of Mormons with your testimonies in them. It was really fun to read everyones testimony. Thanks so much all the support you have given me this year. I love the watch. It is just what I needed. We are always trying to keep track of our time and how use it.

The ward primary letters were awesome. I cant believe how much my little primary class has grown.

I know that you will all be blessed for supporting the work.

Christmas visit!!

We were able to skype with Stephen over Christmas. It was so amazing and awesome to see his face. He is doing so well.. He was supposed to call at 10 am but his companion was sick so he spent 6 hours of Christmas in the Insta Care with his companion. His companion had a bad flu but was fine. So we didnt get to talk to him untill 3pm.

He has loved serving in the Escondido area . The members are so amazing to them there. They are watched over and protected. Stephen is still a cheep skate.. He is the only missionary who has money left at the end of the month. He survives on hot pockets and oatmeal. The members feed them dinner every night.

The whole time we were talking the families house he was out came out and kept asking him if he needed a drink of water (it was 80 degrees on Christmas) or if he was having problems with skype.

We had a great visit and could of kept talking forever. We visited with him for 2 hours and still had plenty of things to talk about and say.

It was the best part of our Christmas.

Dec 20

Wow this week went by so fast I can hardly remember what happend. We had to move out for the holidays because the family we live with had family coming home for the holidays. So we moved in with the Voughens for this week then we will be back with the Broughs .

We have been busy helping these two families this week and were only able to make one apt this week.. We have still been meeting with the guy with his drug problems but he is gone alot. He says the holidays are hard for him so he is always out getting his next fix. We have been meeting with his brother Eddy when he is not there. I wonder if Eddy is who we were really suppose to find. Eddy is a nice guy who has had a hard life. He was injured in a car accident and cant stand up straight. We help him with what we can. He seems happy. I feel sorry for him because his family is his brother and his brother has a drug problem. That is what is so cool about the gospel. Eddy could have a ward family that would help him.

Well I have to run.
